A SPECIAL INVITATION TO THE CLASS OF 1972
Fifty years ago on March 30, 1972, fourteen young men celebrated sub-diaconal and diaconal ordination at the Kliniek chapel on Naamsestraat by Archbishop Eugenio Cardinale, papal Nuncio to Belgium. Along with other classmates, the AC community and many dear family and friends on that Holy Thursday evening, they completed a phase of their vocational journey and many, ordained and not ordained, returned to their home dioceses that summer. Some remained in Leuven for further studies. A few of these brothers have since passed on, marked with the sign of faith and now rest in peace. All who mark the fiftieth anniversary year of this significant event are especially invited to our last stateside alumni reunion in Grand Rapids this June and of course to the final ACAA sponsored reunion next year in Leuven. Please join us in grateful celebration and to sing O Sodales one more time.
